Thames Travel has been a family business trading successfully for the past 25 years in East Twickenham just a stones throw from Richmond Bridge. We are very proud to say that we now are the only independent travel agency in East Twickenham/Richmond and St Margarets and we believe this is because our service is second to none, our knowledge of travel is unrivalled and our passion is still as strong as it was at the begining.

John and Constance Green live and breath Thames Travel and together with their son Christian and the team make up a formidable presence in the travel industry!

MEET THE TEAM

JOHN and CONSTANCE GREEN - MANAGING DIRECTORS

John has been involved in travel forever! They decided to set up Thames Travel in the early eighties and have never looked back. Both can be described as 'beach bums' liking easy living in unpretentious hotels and apartments having spent so many years staying at many of the world's most exlusive 5 star hotels. When they're not working John and Constance like nothing better than playing tennis, going for walks, cycling, swimming and now playing with their new baby grandson. They both also very much enjoy their food, wine and hosting dinner parties for family and friends.

CHRISTIAN GREEN - DIRECTOR

Having parents in the travel industry it was obvious that Christian, from an early age travelling the world in style was always going to be the next member of the Green family to be part of Thames Travel. Having completed a BA hons degree at Brighton University in Travel Management, and has now been an integral part of Thames Travel for over ten years. When Christian is not working he loves playing football, socialising with friends and family, cooking, eating and of course spending time with his wife and son James.

LAURA CHOY - SENIOR CONSULTANT

Laura is the longest serving 'non' family member at Thames Travel. Christian says, 'Laura has worked here for so long that she is practically one of the Family' Laura has a North African and Italian background and was raised In Tuscany. Like all the staff at Thames, Laura is well travelled and knowledgable on many destinations including India, Italy and the Caribbean just to mention a few. When Laura is not at work she enjoys gardening, reading, cooking and spending as much time as she can with her grandaughter.

JENNY RUFF - SENIOR TRAVEL CONSULTANT

Jenny is our Sicilian expert! Jenny too has been in the travel industry for over 25 years but still gets a buzz from researching and finding 'the impossible'. She has travelled extensively, her favourite destinations being Iceland, The Bahamas and the love of her life Sicily to which she escapes to three or four times a year! Jenny is a 'local lass' and has always lived in Richmond/Twickenham so is very well known in the area. She enjoys socialising with her friends, eating out, going to the theatre and spending time with her little grandaughter.

MIRELLA BYGRAVE - SENIOR TRAVEL CONSULTANT

Last but not least .. Mirella or 'Mirella Bella' as she is known in the office was born in Mauritius of Mauritian/Italian parents and has been in travel for most of her working life. Obviously her favourite destination is Mauritius which she visits every year and really is an expert! Mirella loves to travel and has been to many destinations, a few of her other favourites are South Africa, Seychelles, Turkey, Mallorca and the Caribbean. Mirella is the 'worst' singer' in the world but the best cook and keeps everyone at Thames Travel very happy with her curries and shepherds pies!
